Thanks Brian!   I appreciate it.  There is so much to be entered into the software for it... every... single... day, i.e. breakfast, lunch, supper, snacks, etc.  My daughter has the Flex and she and I are competing and she has an office job and I'm retired.  Guess who's gonna win today.... 😉

Oh, one other thing... it's kinda intimidating around the forum... all the runners I mean.  I'm just a 30 lb overweight retired sailor that wants to get down 30 lbs so I can fit in my uniform again for my son's retirement from the Army in 2016.

I love my journey and will be glad to be your friend. I have close to 100
pounds to lose. My health limits my activities. But I do try to keep moving
and watch what eat. Just started protein shakes in the morning in hopes
that will help with the toning

Great Corrina!  Yeah, I have my wife and youngest daughter strapped with the Flex all on the same date.  I don't know how this is going to work, but I'm givin' it my best shot.  I have to drop 30 lbs by 2016 so I can fit in my uniform as I need to attend my son's Army retirement and I'm retired Navy.

Hi everyone!

I've had my FitBit Charge since the middle of January, but I'm still really new to the community. I'm a recent graduate of a community college within the Chicagoland area. Since I've had my FitBit, I've never felt more motivated to work in those 10,000 steps a day. My family did just adopt a 3 month-old puppy, however, and I find it difficult to keep stepping when she uses my chest like a pillow! Smiley Very Happy

Welcome!  I too am a loose cannon on here and trying to figure out the pages, menus, calories (are murder) and matching up the info with the phone, computer, and this wrist thingie... 😉  Charge ON!  And that does not mean with a credit card!  ... Ray

Well, lucky me. I bought this to get off the weight. No Christmas gift here. I, like most of you like to see the change on the Dashboard.  I was surprised going through some of the steps, on how easy it is to use. Looking forward to my daily challenges. I'm sure I'll be looking for help.  I'm using the BodyKey program and using the FitBit to show and track my results. Look forward to hearing about your success stories.  Cheers to all of you.

I'm not sure what you are doing, but I was tapping the phone when it was trying to connect to my Flex. Apparently, you were to tap the battery(duh, I was tapping the phone)......once it vibrated i gave it a fling across the room. It did take several attempts. I wish you luck.

The phone asks you to tap the Flex so it can confirm that it is connecting the right device. The vibration confirmation that the unit has just been set up to your account.

And that battery you mentioned your Flex,  the band is just the holder.

Feb 13th 2015. Just got my flex and don't have a clue what to do or whgere to go. Dowloaded something, plugged in the dongle but now what? Can't find basic instructions and can't understand what everyone is talking about. I need to get active or I will die.

This post is over 12 months old. That's just crazy.

Please help.
