Over the years, I have read several articles stating that exercise can be used as a form of stress relief. How do you use exercise to relieve stress?
My favorite form of exercise is dance because of how expressive it can be and how engaging it can be for the whole body. I can channel whatever I'm feeling into it.
My second favorite form of exercise is walking outside. Seeing the change of scenery, listening to new sounds, and just breathing clean air helps to clear my mind.
My third favorite form of exercise is Yoga because of how much focus it puts on the mind/body connection.

My family has a cottage in northern Michigan. We have a paddle boat. When I am out on the lake, peddling away … nothing can bother me. It’s just me and the loons, turtles, etc. If I know the day will be busy and possibly stressful (even if it’s the good stress of grandkids), I go out first thing in the morning, often at sunrise. It helps me start the day right.

Mine is definitely walking, @DramaQueenDiva! It's very stimulating to the senses.
I love to just walk around nature and listen to the sounds of water, the birds, the wind, the smell. It's my favorite one for sure. 😎
