Hi @Stevs and welcome to the forum! Fitbit acts as a tool, offering many features that can help you work towards better health. If you use the features (counting steps, calories, track food, exercise, analyzing sleep, etc.), you can track your progress. Or, if there is no progress, Fitbit can help you figure out what needs improvement.

The best advice I ever heard about these fitness trackers is to remember that they're not wrist-candy. They can only give you as much information as you're willing to take in, so if you only ever look at the time, it's an over-priced watch. 😉
