Fitbit is expanding everyday and we want you to feel free and happy to share with all of us your thoughts, goals, personal trainings, achievements, pictures, stats and everything you would like us to see. 

• First things first, we want you to feel safe about what information you're sharing. So take a moment to read about how to personalize your Fitbit profile and be in control of the information you share with friends: How do I manage my Fitbit profile?

• Now, let's add some Fitbit friends. Since you're here, you can easily add Community Forums members to your friend list. Follow these steps!

  1. Click on user's Community profile page.

  2. Click "Go to Fitbit.com profile" next to user's profile image.

  3. Send a friend request. 

• Have you seen the option 'Community tab' on the Fitbit app? Excellent! You can join and take a look of our Feed, Friends and Group options. You might want to take a moment to learn more about this here: What should I know about the Fitbit Community?

  1. Feed: Share information, photos, and achievements with a group or with all your Fitbit friends.

  2. Friends: Cheer, taunt, or message your friends, keep up with them.

  3. Groups: Create or join a closed group in the Fitbit community to share tips and information.

Remember you can report Fitbit Community posts, users, and groups if you see something that you think isn't appropriate for our community.

Hey there. I know it’s kinda confusing to find ppl based on username. Somehow Fitbit has like a username in the app and a different one for your profile on the webpage.

Like for example, here my display name is Erok. But to add me as a friend in Fitbit. It’s through the app, add friend by screen name, and my name is Agaveson. I will try to add you but it could be possible those might not be the right screen name for adding your account to another’s friends list.

Additionally. If you have not yet transferred your account over from Fitbit to google you will not be able to communicate or see each others stats unfortunately. 🙄

@BitterTaste  When I click on your link nothing shows up but that seems to be for every profile link I try to click even my own. Is yours still working for you? I keep figuring mine does that because I just migrated to using gmail.

@Adamyav89  you go to your fitbit app and Tap on the "You" icon (usually in the bottom right corner), then select "Friends" there should be a few ways to add friends. but the way that many people do it is Fitbit username, you can search for them directly So if you search for someone on it with the name they use here most use that name on the account but if a person say like me as a different name then well just ask. I go by Alice AV on there and my profile pic is of a manga image(Same on eI use here) and my profile page on there has Wednesday (The netflix TV series ) Logo as a banner. Oh but if you don't use a gmail account to log in you might not see any of the people's posts if they are using gmail or if you are using gmail you won't see the posts of people who are still using another e-mail to log in.
