There's one tradition we all do for this season : Make a New Year's resolution. The number one of those resolutions is to lose weight or be obsessed with make more money. Those resolutions are always great but what about just relax and concentrate in what make us happy.
Make diet and eat better can sometimes be a source of stress if we don't know how to handle it. I would like to propose we all share our resolutions for 2020 not for get in shape but to be happier. What do you think ?
Here's my resolutions for be happier this 2020 :
Achieving goals can be a frustrating process if demands a lot of your time. So I though about little things, little changes in everyday life. That worked for me this year.

What a great idea @GraceGFitbit
Mine would be to:
- Try to be more present in the current moment. I tend to be thinking about a ton of other things instead of actually being fully present.
- Prepare ahead of time for things so I am not stressed, scrambling around and/or late.
- Stay in better contact with friends and family.
- Take my dogs for regular walks.

@GraceGFitbit I am not a resolution maker. I think most people go with an in the moment resolution that doesn't hold up past January 15th. It is usually a vague resolution such as lose weight, eat better, get more active. What happens next is the normal cycle.. join a gym, spend 200 dollars on groceries that will magically help one lose weight and spend 300 dollars on sneakers that will walk you no matter what. All of that is going to end up in wasted money and spoiled food. Setting a resolution should be about specific things that someone can actually tie a behavior to. If one decided to lose weight- how much weight in the first month? How will that weight be lost? What immediate and sustainable changes need to be made? If it is to be more active? How? Which days will the activity take place? Where will it be? Is there a back up plan? How long will it last? I think you get the drift. I like you no sugar resolution. That is specific, it will lead you to someplace you would like to get to and it is sustainable as long as some sugar is allowed. I think resolutions take planning and commitment so they last past MLK day..

I like your idea! But I am not much of a resolution kind of guy. But I have been thinking on things that would improve the overall happiness and health in my life. So if I had to pick three things that are not very specific...these would be them:
1. Read more in a recreational way.
2. Meditate more...something I have been wanting to do for a long time now.
3. Be more spiritual...I know a lot of people will disagree with me...and this doesn't necessarily mean go to church more...but I think being spiritual can increase your happiness goals.
Just a few things.
