Did you mean:

You know you're a Fitbit addict when...

  • You pace the house to get to a particular figure before going to bed
  • You sit down when recharging as you don't want to 'waste' any steps
  • You park further away from the shops to gain extra steps

Well @DavideFitbit and @EmersonFitbit I'm glad I am in good company, spent 4 hours at work with no Fitbit on.

I know @Rich_Laue, unfortunately I couldn't go back and get it and I'm sure I did a lot of steps that day. I'm used to watch the time in my Fitbit as well Smiley Sad

When your spouse asks you "Do you need steps?" when you put your jacket on.

When you wait for those phone reminders to see how close you are to your daily goal.

When you start to calculate the size of the home improvement store to figure out how many steps you can gain on one trip.

When at the grocery, before pushing the cart, while in public with onlookers, you remove fitbit CHR out of desperation of having all steps counted....and shove it down your pants to rest over your hipbone bc you know your steps won't be counted if both hands push cart. I don't care if anyone sees me do that either bc I know they don't get it.

I get strange looks doing sprints in walmart, esp by the time I did 5 full perimeter laps. I've made friends w employees this way. Easy and cheap...they pay for the AC so I keep my cool...get 7000 steps...maybe 11K on a very hot day.

You're right @SunnnyDaze, it would be a shame to loose all those steps from the total daily count, you do have to walk a lot in the supermarket. As long as you get those steps in your totals. Smiley Very Happy

when you put a 19" tv on your treadmill and choose to only watch netflix IF you are counting steps.

When you loook at times of movies in terms of steps rather than  minutes.

I tend to walk with my hands in my pocket when it's cold but now I make sure my left one is loose and swinging so I get my step counts...

Now THAT is how you get it done! I wish my tiny apartment had enough space for a treadmill. @SunnnyDaze

Haha I do the same @SunnnyDaze, I like to watch T.V while exercising and I installed one in front of the treadmill. Smiley Very Happy

When you get rid of the couch to have the room for the treadmill you will then KNOW you are happily addicted and can't ever be a couch potato again bc you simply just don't have a couch anymore.

When you just now realize you only need 120 steps and wearily decide to just get up and pace just to make today's goal of step count. Now I gotta get up and walk around a bit...Woman Surprised REALLY!!!
