I do so many of these things already and I've only had mine for about a week I can't believe how attached I've become to it so quickly.

Wow, first time I've read the forums and glad to know its not just me !!!!!!!
I constantly check my mobile phone for the latest figures on my Flex fitbit and it's worse than general mobile phone addiction as I even look at it whilst sat on the train as if it's going to have changed since the last minute I looked.
When the Flex buzzes on my arm to say i've met goal, I say "Ooohh" out loud and have to stop myself interrupting conversation to tell everyone (friend or stranger) that I've made my goal!
I love it and can't bear to not be wearing it. I so love the Flex rather than the clip on waist one I used to have as I've less chance of losing it and can't forget to wear it ....... If I ever forget to put it back on after a shower and go out, I'm hearbroken all day !!!! Weird eh???
How about, carrying bags uncomfortably in my left hand to make sure that my right hand is kept free to move so it knows i'm doing something !!!?? Is referring to a plastic object as a human object that 'knows' things, I sign of madness or FitBit mania !!???
Lost just over a stone so far since fitbit Flex.

True Story
You are a FB addict when you wake up early to take a 7.5 hour road trip home from vacation, keep checking your Flex and seeing that one dot mocking you the whole time. You walk everywhere during gas and potty breaks but it does. not. move!
You get home at 3pm, unpack, get laundry going, put on your sneaks and head out for a 7.5 mile walk just to get the lights to 5.

I no longer play hookie from work. I cant call in and then take off the fitbit because if I left it on my coworkers would know that I was not really sick. I now would rather go to work and get my steps in. I am a Fitbit addict.

OMG!!! For the first time I forgot my fitbit one at home when I left for work today. My steps aren't counting. What am I going to do? All this exercise for nothing. Do you think I'm addicted?

P.S. I even jogged in place in front of the coffee maker at work and didn't get credit for it.

I hiked all over San Francisco, up hills, stairs, everywhere! All. Day. Long. When we got back to my brother's apartment and I realized I didn't have my fitbit on all day I was utterly CRUSHED!
I immediately sent messages to all my fitibit buddies that I wanted credit for all my steps and they were so lucky I left my fitibt off all day.
Currently my fitbit is lost. 😞 And the person who found it is getting in more steps than even my most active friend. We're all a little peeved about that.

- You know you're an addict when you get excited to know that out of the thousands of blocked sites on your work computer this is not one of them
-You know you're an addict when you are constantly syncing your fitbit just to see what your calories burned total is.
- You know you're an addict when you realize the slate color matches your car and have to to a selfy with your flex in the pic
- You know you're an addict when you try to get eveyrone near you to purchase one just so you can share the crazy joy
- You know you're an addict when you spend an hour of your day reading every post in the "you know you're a fitbit addict when" discussion because you glad to know there are people like you (and you did it while stepping)
- You know you're an addict when you have to stop yourself from talking about it to people that are not using one because they have asked you coutless of times to stop but you just can't help it so you start posting on discussion boards to get your fix of talking about your fitbit and how amazing it is.

Can totally relate! I once went to bed to read and noticed that I needed 250 more steps to reach my daily goal...so I decided to get up and walk around and do the stairs in the house!!!
It is addictive!!!

I need to get a dog - it would get so much exercise now I am in to Fit Bit. I am not sure if the cat would like it though. I wonder if the cat would like a collar and lead. Probably not.

When you crawl out of bed just before midnight because you realize you are less than 200 steps from your daily goal. So you jog the hall way for ten minutes in the dark to reach the goal..
