My fitibt stopped working earlier this month so I got a new one. I have been using it for about a week and I know yesterday alone I walked over 16k steps. I attached my new fitbit to my profile this morning and it doesn't show any of the steps before today. Any advice?

I realized and confirmed yesterday my One fitbit is not logging stairs accurately. It might be logging one out of four and today it is logging even less. I am sure this might be affecting my total steps/etc. also. Please advise.

@JamesWalksAlot I'm at a loss, if your tracker broke earlier this month, and no steps have been logged.. If today you added your new Fitbit, what device logged the steps yesterday? Have you checked Fitbit.com?
@CrystalWalker stairs or a tricky thing to calculate by air pressure, for a ten feet rise we are looking for a change equivalent to less than the weight of a quarter of a dollar bill. Many factors may affect this.
You could try a restart of the tracker, this should straighten out any hardware that may be malfunctioning.

@Rich_Laue Rich I bought a new fitbit one and have been using it for the last 5 days or so. I just got around to syncing it with my account this morning and none of my last 5 days show up.

That makes sense now.. Fitbit will ignore any data, on the tracker, resetting the Fitbit when it is setup.. This is what is suppose to happen durring a setup of the tracker.
