I have had a fitbit one since 2013. Two months ago it started acting up out of nowhere. No problems before that, none at all, rock solid.
First it started losing time, my 6:30 AM alarm will go off at 2 PM, then the display started mailfunctioning, then it started timers randomly without any action on my part, it would start / stop timers at random times. then slowly it stopped responding to button clicks, display never turns on.
thru all this, it continued to sync with phone but none of that data is reliable becasue the time is off & no idea what actually its tracking & the random timers.
now its settled in to the following pattern:
no display / randoml display when attempting to interact with the button
plug in / FITBIT 6.60
then full battery icon
screen off
press button, shows a solid rectangle
then VIBE ? vibrates x times
then two code that have 6 characters
then DOWN
then OFF
then FAIL 62 or FAIL 54
screen off
I have tried resetting with plugin & 10 sec hold, no use with any published reset methods.
