Belt clip replacement...Fitbit One customer service comes through!

Dear Fitbit One manufacturer.

When you make the belt clip for fitbit one, please take care to create a seam such that it does not detach from the tip.  refer to attached picture.fitbitemail.jpg

Dear Fitbit one customer service...thank you for replacing this for me!  for the 2nd time!

The funny thing is that I had this problem and got a 3rd party replacement thinking it wouldn't have the same design flaw. Guess what: it did.

I've seen some posts where people have secured it with superglue but I've not had success for long.

I'm glad fitbit have been helping you out.

Glad they helped someone - I contacted them and they simply offered me 25% off a new tracker. Bit extreme when I just need a new clip!

Will not bother with a Fitbit branded one, gonna be a cheapo case off Amazon and a rethink about whether I really want to remain with them when their customer service is so hit or miss. Seems lots of people have replacements sent out for free which supports your view (and many others) that it is a design flaw, but seems a luck-of-the-draw lottery whether you'll be lucky or not to be sent one, and that's what annoys me.

I also have the problem with the detachment on the tip---3 times.  The first time I ordered and paid $15 for a new case myself.  After that I decided it was more the design causing the seperation from the body of the case and I called customer service.  They replaced it for me.  Fitbit needs to redesign the case.  I love the item and want to stay with the current One rather than the bracelets.

Not sure why Fitbit cannot get the clip designed right so it doesn't break.  The clips do not last more than a month and they break.  I have to wear it in my pocket becuase I cannot keep spending $15 on a new clip several times per year.  I love the fitbit but hate the case/clip.

Doesn't seem like super glue really works...so that doesn't help!. Not sure why someone would suggest that.

I suggested superglue because it has worked for some people. It may work for you too if you try it.

I have had this same problem with my current One (have just contacted customer service about it) and the previous One I had (and later lost). Seems like a strange design as no obvious reason why the tip would be made to come off on purpose...IMG_0395.JPG

I've just covered the entire clip part with gorilla tape, takes about 3 months for it to work its way off and start again

Hey! Man Happy It is nice to have you all here.

@julmarsh, Like our friend, @SteveH, suggested there are a lot of other Fitbitters around here, with really good ideas so it wouldn't hurt to try, I think.
