My several-year-old One's screen has gone blank.  

It still counts steps, the battery still lasts almost a week, but the screen is blank... all the time.

I tried the reset procedure to no avail.  

 

Has anyone else had this issue?

Well they do not last forever and it sounds like yours is on its last legs. You can try a restart to see if it helps but I doubt it
