I have been trying to re-install my Fitbit One since last Friday and have been getting the following message: "the operation couldn't be completed. (com.fitbit.HTTP error 400.)" Been on the phone with Customer Service twice and they have been of no use. Both times i've been told they are aware of the issue and that their engineers are working on a solution or work around but they are unable to give me any kind of timing on when it will be resolved. i haven't been able to use my device the last 6 days and find the delay unacceptable especially since the One has discontinued. This is not the ethical way to get your users to upgrade products.

Welcome to the forums!
Did you remove it from the blue-tooth settings on the phone?
Please do and try again

I did and jus tried it again, not working. I know I am not the only person that is happening to. “The engineers are working on it” response is not an acceptable response at this point. This is now day 7.

I am trying to setup my fitbit one that I've had sitting around for a while and I am receiving the same results. There has to be some software diagnostic tool that the engineers can read in an attempt to fix the communication error. Please email the solution when you have it. If you can get this error corrected then my odds of upgrading to a newer fitbit device in the future increase.

Thanks for the suggestion @WendyB
I was in total despair as I also 'only' have an Android v6 phone so buying a new Fitbit isn't an option for me!
Just found your suggestion and turned my Bluetooth off and back on and my faithful old One is back up and running 🙂

Similar situation, I lost my one yesterday while out of town, I have a unopened spare that has been sitting around for a couple years, It's fully charged now but can not display any info unless it's being charged and then the only info It will display is Fitbit 6.64, the full battery display and then the 4 digit code to install, as soon as I unplug it the screen stays dark and It does not track any movement to the app.
