Hi...

 

I last synced 3 years ago. I plugged my FitBit One into the dongle and into my Win10 PC. The battery shows full and the firmware shows 6.60

 

It won't sync and I cannot update the firmware, tho I will admit after seeing another thread I'm not sure I want the latest as it seems to be killing batteries. I just want the device to work. The screen will not turn on unless it is the dongle. I followed the reset instructions (several times) to no avail.

 

Any suggestions? I don't know what to do at this point. When I last used it in 2017 it worked fine, no problems at all.

Sorry to break this to you, as I have about 100 fitbit ones next to me right now, but if your fitbit only comes on when its plugged into the dongle, then the battery is bad.  They go bad in about 4 years.
