Wed 10/19 my dash board shows I did 11083 in steps.  My daliy challenge shows over 16K insteps - which was correct.  I called customer service - no change to the data.  Today (10/23)  I accepted a daily challenge and the message shows that I joined with a 10K step goal - but my steps do not show.

I have reset my One and my ipdad - no luck in updating....

Welcome to the forums @JT18517, it’s great to see you around1

Before considering further options, I’d recommend you to confirm if you’ve added activities manually to your account via the app or the dashboard as @MikeF mentioned in this thread, remember that steps from manually logged activities do not count towards challenges.

I hope this helps, keep me posted.

the odd thing was that the challenge steps were correct @ 16K in steps  - it was the dash board that was and is wrong - it still show I only did 11K for the day.   I try to avoid adding steps manually -  I only recall that I have done it once in the 4 years I have been using FitBit.

Has this happened only once, the day you had 11K steps in the dashboard? or you've continued to experience this for several days?

It's in weird that you had more steps registered in the challenge as you mentioned, if you continue to have trouble with this I do recommend that you get in touch with the Customer Support team for further assistance.

It has only been the one time - all is normal now.   Customer service did not have an answer when I called .  Thanks for your input.
