Ever since the Fitbit Connect program came out, the manual sync hardly ever works well from my computer. Before Fitbit Connect I could manually sync without a problem. Once the new Fitbit Connect program came out it became a hassle to manually sync because the program can rarely find my Fitbit One to do the synch - even when my One is right in front of the sync dongle or only a couple inches away. The automatic sync works ok most of the time - indicating the sync dongle is likely working ok - but the manual sync usually takes several tries and holding the One in various positions before sometimes it finally finds the One and does the sync. Other times after 4 or 5 tries and Fitbit Connect still can't find the One, I give up. Is there another way to manually sync?

Do you have a compatible phone / tablet that you could use to sync? The list of supported devices is at www.fitbit.com/devices
Alternatively, if you are running Windows 10 then you can download the fitbit app from the Windows store and use that to sync (it doesn't use the fitbit connect program).

@TSinFC I hope you're doing well! I recommend rebooting your computer. Then perform a restart on your One. Then, try to sync again to check if that will work.
Alternatively, you can try what @SteveH suggested if you own a supported mobile device or if you are running Windows 10.
Let me know how it goes!

I have already tried rebooting my computer and I have restarted my One several times.
I use a Mac for monitoring my Fitbit stats and thus do not use Windows 10 (or otherwise). I do not use a mobile device for Fitbit.
I did not have these problems synching with my current set-up until Fitbit changed the synch program to Fitbit Connect.
