This is the strangest thing! I paid a fortune for a Fitbit on amazon ($230) because I can't live without my Fitbit One, and my fifth one died. Still the best, most accurate tracker out there. When I received it, it was dead and would not take a charge. I went back on Amazon to return it and found the only one left on Amazon had increased increased in price by $60 in two days - so nearly $300!. I called Fitbit and they agreed to send me a new one if I returned the faulty one to them, which I sent off today. I came home and decided one last time to try to resurrect an old one. Mind you I had tried to get ALL five of these working numerous times, over many years, with tech support etc. Magically, so far, three of these Fitbit One's have come back to life. There is just no explanation for this. I had all of these Fitbits on the charger for at least 24 hours last week, including the new one. I really am flabbergasted! Anyone else out there have old Fitbits that magically come back to life? Maybe there is an update to the firmware that somehow got downloaded on them, but I did not manually download any update on them, and they were completely dead. So I am now the owner fo 3 working Fitbits, with one on the way for warranty.

@KelleyLA it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! Regarding your Fitbit Once trackers, that's really great and spooky as @WendyB and @KelleyLA mentioned since they suddenly started working after they would not turn on. However, I'm so glad to hear that they started working. Thank you for sharing your feedback and comments.

I had a similar experience. I could not turn my One on and kept getting low battery messages. When plugged into the charger it would show a full battery and the device would wake up. As soon as I unplugged it it was dead. I reset it numerous times with no improvement. I finally gave up and ordered a new device which will arrive in about a week. In the meantime I had inadvertently left my One plugged into the charger for 24 hours. When I went to remove it so I could dispose of it it started working again. It has been working for three days now. So weird.
