Hi today is my second day with my fitbit one. Ive heard some of the other fitbits track steps when driving and that you have to go into your account to negate those steps. Is that an issue with fitbit one? If so, how would i add travel to a certain time frame so travel isnt counted as steps?

I agree with @WendyB, please know our engineers have worked diligently on your tracker's algorithms to make sure that it does not pick up false steps or activity recordings while in a car. Unless you are driving in a car with a stiff transmission or on back country roads, your tracker should not give you credit for any work that you don't do. If your One is tracking steps while driving please follow the steps provided in this thread to delete the extra steps.
Keep me posted!

Put the One in your pocket or clip it to the bra or waistband. Never had a problem when my arms weren't in motion.

I've only had my One for three days, and I can say that yes, it does track steps when I'm driving. Not all the time, but it did today.
I was on a flat road (interstate) in a smooth-running car, and racked up a few hundred steps. Very frustrating.
