I have a FB One dongle that disconnects and does not reconnect after computer restart. I have tried various USB ports, and they all work if I UNPLUG the dongle and then REPLUG it - even in the same USB port. I do not believe that this is normal behavior and I am hoping that someone out there can offer a work-around to having to unplug it every time I restart the computer. Thank you.

Hi @rswc90. Can you please tell us more about your computer configuration and browser. Also, when attempting to sync with your computer/dongle, do you also have another Bluetooth-enabled device in proximity that is also linked to your Fitbit One? If so, turning off Bluetooth on the other device (phone, tablet ...) might do the trick. Fitbit Connect, although it can sync with many different devices, can sync with one device at a time, using a single-channel Bluetooth connectivity; such that if you're tracker already has a live connection with you phone, that connection will interfere with your computer/dongle.

My phone is usually nearby but the fitbit app is never open and therefore, I believe, not syncing via bluetooth until I open it. My system is a mac computer. No other issues with USBs plugged into it -- they all reconnect without issue. And the issue is a non-issue once it has reconnected -- so there is no other interference once the connection has been made. So I don't believe that the phone would be the problem. (but what do I really know!?) Regardless of the USB post I use, the dongle stays disconnected until I pull it out and put it back in again. Then it's fine until I restart the system again. Thaks for your thoughts.
