When a person does for example 2 mins of sit-ups, 8 mins. on Nordic Track and later in the afternoon does another 2 mins of sit-ups and 10 mins of Nordic Track then under the exercise in the dashboard it should display a total of exercises of 22 mins with a total of 112 calories. Currently it only shows the last exercise and so it is not giving a person a very good picture.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @S62242. It's great to have you here. The Fitbit One is designed to track movement while walking and running. It might not track your steps or distance accurately while exercising on any stationary machine or doing sit-ups. To obtain accurate information please manually log these activities in the Activity tab

I have input all of these data points manually, but Fitbit should be able to add all of them together. For example if I manually put in 2 mins sit-ups with 24 calories, then Nordic Track 8 mins with 120 calories, then on the dashboard under exercise it should show a total of 10 mins of exercise with 144 calories expended. But your program does not do this which means you have to go to the details to see each individual entry for that day. To have the Fitbit app to add ALL exercises then it becomes a world class app separating it from all the other weight/exercise trackers out there. Thanks.

Thanks for the update @S62242. I agree this would be a great idea. Having the option to merge the exercises you manually logged individually to have a workout session sounds great. You are welcome to share your suggestion in the Feature Request board. Once any update is available it will be communicated as soon as possible. Thank you for helping to improve Fitbit products.

Catch you later. Cat Happy

How many times can I use Fitbit One to log my exercise on the same day without uploading the information?  In other words do I have to upload each time I use the exercise tracker or can I upload all at the end of the day as I don't do all exercise just once in a day.

Hi @Maruki. You Fitbit One tracker has sufficient on-board memory to keep all your data, minute-by-minute for a whole 7 days, and daily totals for the 23 days prior. So you can work out as many times as you like and sync at the end of the day, and you'll be fine.

Hope this helps. Have a good day.

I have logged in my exercises which I do NOT mind. But I want the list of exercises to be tabulated and add up with a total instead of the list that I get. I am using two other programs that you claim are compatible. Three actually, Tactio-Health, Runtastic, and My Fitness Pal which the two exercises are actually synched with Fitbit. So I would like Fitbit to add all these up and total both the mins. and calories.

But @S62242, as @EdsonFitbit suggested earlier on in this thread, your best bet at this point is to post your idea in the Feature Requests forum and see how much traction it gets. Believe me, Fitbit pays attention to feature requests, particularly those that do get many votes. That's not to say that they implement them all, but they do pay attention. Cheers!
