My out of warranty fitbit one randomly shuts off and displays FAIL 62 when I run it through the diagnostics. I am wondering what FAIL 62 means is wrong with the thing. Does anybody know what that code is? Thanks!

I've seen a couple of instances of Fail 62 and although I don't know what it means, in the other cases multiple restarts seem to have sorted it out

Thanks! I have lost count of how many times that I have restarted it so far. I will give it a few more times before I write it off as done. It had a good run but just couldn't survive the third handoff I guess. I would still like to atleast know what the code means. Was hoping someone with Fitbit would be able/willing to answer. Hint, hint Fitbit, Inc. Thanks again!

Hi @unavailable. According to the information contained in this link, a Fail message, with the exception of Fail 59, means that the tracker is bad. This article is about the Ultra, but presumably also applies to the One.

Your best best would be to reach out to the support team to confirm.
