Fit bit charge counting steps while in the car

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
Today I spent the entire day driving in a car. My charge counted 6000+ steps I did not take. I am synced with weight watches and I need it to be accurate for my activity points. Today I should have gotten 0 but with the tracker saying I've walked 6000 steps it has also tracked it in my journal.
Can someone help?

It's nice to see you around the Community @Lilpapp, hope you're doing great! Smiley Very Happy I recommend taking a look at these useful workarounds that my friend @EdsonFitbit shares to resolve this situation.

We're constantly striving to improve Fitbit products and services, and we very much appreciate all of the input we receive from our customers. The best place to make your voice heard is the Feature Suggestion Board on our community, which our product development teams consult regularly to ensure we're delivering on what our customers need and want. Please take a moment to visit and give us your feedback.

I've found the suggestion "Add Driving Mode feature" that another member has already created. If you find that similar of what you'd like to implement, you can vote for the idea and add your comments. Our product team looks forward to reading and incorporating your suggestions into future versions of Fitbit trackers and apps.

Have a great weekend!
