Hi there @Paul1980 its nice to see new members around the Community! Smiley Very Happy Ok, could you please confirm how did you restart your One by checking the instructions on this post? In addition, I would like you to take a look of this helpful article I can't sync my tracker. I'm pretty sure this will help you out. Smiley Wink

Let me know the outcome!

Hello @HeydyF, thanks for the reply. I have tried to reset (using those instructions) a few times but it doesn't seem to have any effect at all? My One seems to be dying really quickly too, it doesn't hold charge for long (less than 12 hours). It's less than 3 weeks old and it had been working perfectly until now??? I'm just charging it (again) now, I'll try everything once more but if it still doesn't work - what is my next step? I think it would be safe to assume I have a faulty device? Thanks again Smiley Happy

Hello again @HeydyF ! I've fully charged my One, tried the reset several times. Uninstalled the app on my phone (Xperia Z5), restarted my phone, turned Bluetooth off/on and still nothing. The One still displays my name, the time is wrong etc It does keep displaying 660. I'm at a loss as to what to do next? Can I get a new device?

Thanks for getting back to me @Paul1980, how are you doin' today? Smiley Happy can you please try something else? like setting up your One as a new device by following these steps:

- From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the menu icon in the top left corner.
- Tap Devices.
- Tap the + icon in the top right corner.
- If you're replacing a tracker, tap the tracker you want to replace. If you're setting up a new tracker, tap Add a new Device.
- Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue.

Let me know if that works!

Hello @HeydyF, I'm good thank you. How are you? I've tried setting it up as a new device a few times but it doesn't 'see' my One, I've tried restarting Bluetooth, trying again etc but nothing is working. What next? 🙂

My One is not syncing either, has not synced with my phone or pc, since 10:20 pm last night. Is there anyway to force a sync? We were able to, with the Ultra.

Mine stopped around 22:30 yesterday, all of a sudden, so would guess there is a problem which affects all.of us. Help

I have been having exactlly the same problem and had done the same steps. This morning I just tried plugging the one into the charger on the pc, holding down for a count of 20 (just to be sure) and then- without unplugging- ran the "set up new device" procedure through the connect on the pc. I did push the display on a few times while it was searching, but kept it plugged in. It finally found it, I typed in the number on the display, leaving it plugged in, and then waited for what seemed like a long time for it to "finish up". Finally it showed synced, and THEN I removed the charger. I then checked and it immediately synced to my phone app upon opening. Lost the previous data, but at least I have a working FitBit and app! I had been using this with the display data only for a month because I couldn't get it going and had no time to try to fix it. Good luck to you! Hope maybe this will work for you 🙂

Hello @jen3nifer, I've tried your method but mine is still not working. It's so frustrating! I'm glad you got yours to work. Thank you for taking the time to write such a descriptive explanation, it was really helpful, just a shame it wouldn't work for me Smiley Happy

Out of sheer frustration this morning I held my One next to my phone (Samsung S4 Galaxy) and just held the button down for 30 seconds. It worked! and now both phone and pc are up to date. I'll keep watching and reprt if it is fixed or a band aid.

So far my One is syncing. So maybe the long hold on the button seems to have kept recognition of the device.

Did the recommended long hold while connected to the computer, then the short hold and it reset. Unfortunately, my tablet still did not download the info, so after a reset of it, everything is fine.
Thank you for the information, it proved very helpful.
