FitBit One Won't Sync

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I know this was an issue discussed previously but I've had it for the last four months. My One will not sync with a Android phone or Windows computer. Have restarted my One, updated the app on my phone and Windows PC, installed the FitBit Connect, turned everything off & on, plugged in with USB, held One’s power 14 seconds on USB & rebooted. I've read & tried many of the "solutions" from 2019-2018 postings but none have worked yet. Bluetooth is working/on, software updated on phone & PC updated.

My One is charged & has tracking numbers ... for it only. Never syncs. Especially frustrating since when you plug in with USB cable, the computer sees how much battery it has & still won't sync.

THANK YOU!!!!! I tried the find my tracker app. I have been syncing with my iPad as sync stopped working with my iPhone. I downloaded the find my tracker app and turned Bluetooth off my iPad, and my iPhone found my tracker, and started syncing my FitBit One again. Yay! I have been going crazy trying any and every solution proposed, and only accidentally got my iPad working after the iOS update. Nothing worked with my SE2020 until now. TYFS!

Hi, I tried that with my MacBook, no joy. At least it now works with my iPad and iPhone.

I don’t know why so many people started having problems at the same time. I know i had a problem with my a little while ago and emailed fitbit but they weren’t interested and just wanted me to buy a new one.

@Whitey67 if your tracker is within service maintenance warranty period, email back for another rep as they shouldn't have abandoned you. If, however, it's out of warranty, understandably, don't expect them to put too much time into trying to help, at most you'll likely get a discount on a newer tracker.

Never got it to sync. Bought a new Fitbit but I hate it on my wrist, so I’m still using my “one” and just trying to look at it t the end of the day

I've had continued problems with the One sync, since May.  It struggles to find my tracker, or doesn't sync successfully.  I've found now that if I press "update my tracker" (dashboard on Windows PC) it will go through the update process - it fails to update every time, but after that, if I do a manual sync, it will be successful.  A real hack and I'm not sure how long I'll keep it up with my One (which may be Fitbit's intent; who knows) but I'm managing with it for the time being.

I have bought an Inspire (non HR one) and have been testing it against the One.  It is pretty close to the One for accuracy, if you wear it clipped.

I gave up and bought a new Fitbit. I hate it on my wrist and I can’t read the dial but I get weekly reports. I’m still wearing the original one and try to remember to check it at night since I don’t get reports.

Hi,
I had to re-set my one with the laptop and also deleted the app and reinstalled it.

Linda.
