Welcome aboard to our Community @Deelnya. In my opinion you experienced syncing issues. Probably your tracker did not upload your data to your App despite you have steps recorded. I bet by now your steps are on your total count, but if the issue persist on a daily basis, I recommend PeterFitbit's post which include different suggestions for this type of issues.
