Woke up and my One said I logged 9k steps during my sleep. Any ideas?

Is the Fitbit near a vibration source like a fan, dehumidifier, or even a computer CPU? It can see the vibration as steps and add false steps.

You can enter a driving record to get rid of them

No, not near a fan, not place any different than any other night. As you can see from the screen shot, 9k steps were recorded between 12:00am - 12:40am. If it were an environmental issue it would have gone on for the duration of my sleep, not 40 minutes. I did log the steps as driving so they would not show. It is just frustrating that someone should have to do that as it seems it is a bug of sorts.

@xstine I hope you're doing well! Thanks for reporting this situation you have experienced with those steps getting tracker while sleeping. Thanks for trying the steps above to delete those steps.

Are you still experiencing the same? Please perform a restart on your One. This should certainly help you prevent this from happening again.

Hope this helps. Keep me posted! Smiley Happy
