I have a Fitbit One, I purchased one for my husband, and my good friend used to have one. We all participated in challenges together and would have continued buying them if they hadn't been discontinued. My friend's died recently, and without the option to replace it, she opted for an Apple Watch instead of one of the wrist-based Fitbits. My husband and I would both prefer a rechargeable, clip-based tracker - we love the One. However, if I end up having to buy wrist-based trackers when our Ones stop working (we are already seeing signs of their decline), I will be switching to Garmin. Fitbit has shown that it will disregard a large number of customers, and I also see that they are no longer supporting some of their older products. That lack of concern for what could be long-term customers is not acceptable to me. Once we all have different trackers, we'll use a third-party app so we can have challenges again. Unfortunately Fitbit is blowing it.

Yeah, I don't understand it either. As with many, many others I like my One. Or did since it doesn't work anymore apparently since their new firmware version. Since the One is miles a head of Zip, I'm not sure why they didnt dump the Zip and keep the One. I'm guess the Zip doesn't have near the issues.
I see the the Charge 3 is new. But you read the discussions and there's plenty of problems with it too. So, I'm moving on also and hopefully find a better manufacturer........
@Melrandamom - Sorry, what a bummer. I'm hearing the latest update is killing a lot of Ones - so ours are probably going to crash soon too. Like others, I wish they would have discontinued the Zip and kept the One.
Mine last synced at 7.15 this morning. Nothing I've tried has worked to make my Android phone or my Mac pc 'find' it. I'm guessing it too has reached the end of its natural. What a bummer. I love my Fitbit One, particularly for its sleekness (hidden under clothing during the day) and the silent alarm inside the comfortable sleep band that enabled me to get up early without disturbing my husband. I'm not planning on getting another Fitbit, I don't particularly like what's on offer.
have you done a hard reset? Strangely mine turned back on after putting it in rice for the afternoon
Best AnswerPlease explain a hard reset. Is that when u plug it into the charger while holding the display button?
Mine will sync all the time, but there is no info to transfer.....
Best Answeryes, that is correct
Best AnswerThe Fitbit One is a victim of its success. The company has decided to move to the wrist. The zip is crap, McDonald's gives away pedometers here that are as accurate as the zapped Zip.

Hi everyone - we created this post to discuss the One Availability. As mentioned there, unfortunately, there are no plans to bring the One back and we do not have any information on future products. Feel free to check the discussion there, I'll be closing this thread as a duplicate.
