Is the tracker unit on the flex removable so it would fit in pocket or even bra if needed?

Yes its removable. But its smaller and will not fit in the One clip if that's what you are thinking

It is, but the Alta is a closer alternative to the One ... but neither the flex to alta count stairs, which is a dealbreaker for many. I just tried an aftermarket clip for the Alta (my son has one). My One is still working for now, but that will be my solution once it dies.

That’s exactly what I wanted to know thanks, it means I can pop it in a pocket or tuck in a bra if I occasionally don’t want to wear on my wrist. 😊

My Fitbit one is over a year old now, I have had fitbits since they first came to market 6 oyears ago. I cannot wear watches or jewelry due to my career. My fear is that my one will stop working and I will not have a viable option for replacement. I climb a lot of stairs in my job and have found the stair and step counters very useful. Is there a replacement for the one that will count steps and stairs on the way, or will I need to move on from Fitbit?

@Shortie77 Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for posting your inquiry on this thread regarding Fitbit One alternative. Thanks for sharing all of those details about your experience with Fitbit so far.
Currently, Fitbit doesn't offer any clip-on trackers that will count floors. Please feel free to check this thread about One Alternatives.
Also, please help voting for this Feature Suggestion which is asking for a new updated clip-on tracker from Fitbit. The more votes, the better.

So, Fitbit will not be able to meet my needs for a clip on pedemometer. Unfortunately, my relationship with Fitbit will end when my One no longer works. I will not be happy about this when it occurs. I hope fitbit comes out with a tracker that does not need to be on a wrist, and that the tracker is comparable to the one. The zip does not meet these requirements.

@Shortie77 Thanks for your reply and for sharing your feedback regarding this.
It's unfortunate to read that you will not continue your relationship with Fitbit. I hope you One will last a very long time then!
Let's hope for the best, for the moment, we need to keep voting for the suggestions that we support.
Thanks for your feedback and understanding.
See you around!

My husband & I each have a One; I am on my second one (something was really wrong with my first one several years ago and I received a replacement). I recently dropped and cracked the glass; other than that neither of us has had any problem with ours that a hard boot couldn't cure. My husband's is his original, and both of us were going to get emergency replacements, these are perfect for out lives and a wonderful product. They have endured washing machine mishaps, swimming pools, sun, sweat, and everything life throws at us. They're tiny, and not a gross, sweaty rubber wristband. I understand that Fitbit has decided to discontinue this and every time there are a few posts by people begging for this product to be reconsidered, you close the thread. Could you just have a thread for people to check mark if they want the One back, so that you could use it as a marketing tool? We do not like the Zip - it's larger and needs replacement batteries. If we have to settle for that, we may as well just use cheap pedometers. We will use and love our Ones until they die or support is also discontinued, then you will lose two more customers, sadly.
