Two weeks ago my Fitbit One stopped updating in the app. The app says it hasn't updated since 11/14/20, fifteen days ago.
I'm running the Fitbit app on a Samsung laptop running Windows 10 Home 20H2 with all current updates. In the Bluetooth app the One won't pair. I've reset the One numerous times, including four times in a row.
I've tried connecting the One to two different Windows 10 computers and a Samsung Android tablet, all with the same result. The One shows up in the list of Bluetooth devices, but when you try to pair it, it won't pair.
Any ideas on what's wrong or what I might try?

You can make sure you're away from all other Bluetooth devices just to be safe. If it's showing up in your list of devices, that's a good sign the Bluetooth is still functional in your One (they can fail). Can you try from a phone or again from your tablet? The Windows app is flakey at best and hasn't been updated in a very long time. I'd start with the tablet or a phone, uninstall and reinstall Fitbit with Bluetooth disabled and allow Fitbit to turn on the Bluetooth (why this works, I don't know, it just does) 🙂

Thank you for your reply. I have a Samsung Android tablet and when I run its Bluetooth app, over two dozen (!!!) Bluetooth devices appeared, none of them my Fitbit One. 😞 In order to get away from all other Bluetooth devices as you suggested, I took my Samsung Windows laptop and my Fitbit One and went down into my basement. Success!!!
I was able to pair my One to my laptop and connect to it. When I ran the Fitbit app, my One did not appear, so I had to set it up anew. Once I did that, my One successfuly synced with the app.

The one will reject all attempts to pair through the phone or computers Bluetooth.
Make sure that the one is not paired to any device.
No open the Fitbit app on one phone or computer.
The Fitbit One should then sync - if it was not removed from the Fitbit account.
