I am so tired of having syncing issues. WTF is there not a button to force syncing. I can't wait for the battery to die on my fitbit one, so I can get rid of this piece of sh*t.'

Best AnswerHi @varlock the One was retired quite a few years ago. Synching is done via the app and you can force it to sync manually. Sorry you feel the way that you do. Many people loved and miss the One.
Best Answer@varlock maybe take that passion you have against the tracker and go for an awesome run!
You don't have to wait until your battery dies to replace it, you can even have more than one Fitbit on an account. You can call Fitbit and possibly get a nice discount on a new tracker or sell it on eBay as nonfunctional and use the money towards your next one. The tracker doesn't initiate the sync, it's performed from the app. If I can't sync from my phone, I turn off Bluetooth and then hit sync, somehow when Fitbit turns Bluetooth on it magically syncs again. I've shared this with others who said it helped them too, so maybe give it a try.
Best Answer@Jackiecr I can't suggest much without more information except my tip above to turn off Bluetooth on the phone then let Fitbit turn it back on. Usually, this fixes the problem. You can also try syncing from your computer or a tablet if you have these things in addition to the phone. Sometimes, reinstalling the app fixes things. Sync soon!
Best AnswerHello. I just updated my MacBook Air to Catalina and now my old friend FitBit One doesn't want to sync. Is this just coincidence or does Catalina have something to do with it? I've switched Bluetooth on and off. I've rebooted using the charger cable. I don't use the mobile app, just the plug in dongle in my laptop. It seems to be looking for a wireless dongle that it can't find...
Thanks
Best Answer@Harney although you don't normally use the mobile app, can you temporarily to determine if indeed the Cataline caused this? It's quite possibly one of those "correlation isn't causation" scenarios but you can find out for sure by syncing with another device. Doesn't the Macbook Air already have integrated Bluetooth? If so, you may not even need the dongle.
Best AnswerHi @Harney you're welcome and there may still be a way to get the 28-day record you're seeking. The data is stored on Fitbit's servers ("in the cloud") and will be the same on both your phone and laptop no matter which syncs (provided the apps are both accessing the Internet, of course). Another way would be to click this link which will pull up in a browser and allow you to click month for your 28-day graph and stay motivated. 🙂 Cheers, Darren
Best AnswerFor those that want to force a sync. The process is the same as refreshing your email or this web page.
Place a finger on the display, then pull the screen down.
