Recently I was lucky enough to find my Fitbit One and charge it, etc. It's still at 6.24. I've tried all of the methods I have found on this board, but does it really need the patch?
As far as I'm concerned, it's tracking fine. It's a little problematic when syncing, but it eventually gets the job done.
Thanks!

Best AnswerI don't think that's going to happen. I've tried from both PC and phone, connected to dongle and not connected.
What my question was, am I missing anything by not having it patched to current?
I understand that's a subjective question.
Thanks!

Best AnswerThank you. Those look like useful fixes, especially the battery life one, so I will give it another try.
Best AnswerI tried again with a very patient Fitbit rep on both the phone and laptop and we were not successful.
I'm suspecting there's not a way to download the firmware and try to update it manually somehow, so I think I'm stuck.
I've read through the disappointment of the Inspire not having the stair tracker either as I really like the form factor of the One.
Perhaps I'll try to replace the battery or just use it till it dies!
Thanks All!

Best AnswerThanks for your help. Currently it's holding a charge for about three days, so I may take you up on your offer sooner than later. I did see a pretty good post on how to take it apart and solder in a new battery which might have been from you! I'm not afraid of the soldering, just the cutting the silly thing open!
Thanks!

Best AnswerHi, I lost my original One, so I dug out one that I bought as a replacement only to find
that the battery is dead. Does anyone know of someone that can replace the battery?
I have the Inspire but it doesn’t track stairs....I miss my One!
Thank you
