One I hold down the button before going to sleep, the Fitbit One no longer buzzes.  The timer still tracks sleep.

It's great to see you here @RichardMag. If your One is not buzzing, I recommend restarting it by following @Odyssey13's instructions. After the restart process you can test it by setting up an alarm by doing the following from a computer:

  1. Log into your fitbit.com dashboard.
  2. Click the gear icon in the top right corner.
  3. On the tabs at left, click Devices and choose the tracker for which you want to set an alarm
  4. Click Add Alarm.
  5. Enter the Time you want the alarm to alert you.
  6. Choose how often you want the alarm to occur. If you select Repeats, you can choose which days you want this alarm to repeat each week.
  7. Click Save. If the entry box turns red, you may have entered your alarm time in an incorrect format. You do not need to type in "AM" or "PM" in this space, but you do need to include a colon between hours and minutes.
  8. Click the Fitbit Connect icon (located near the date and time on your computer) and select Sync Now to send the alarm to your tracker.

If it continues without buzzing, feel free to get in touch with our support team. For a faster response you can contact them via phone or chat.

Let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

Sorry about the misunderstanding.  It doesn't vibrate anymore when I press and hold the button before going to sleep or starting a long walk.  Likewise, after sleeping/walking when I press and hold the button to stop the timing of sleeping/walking it doesn't vibrate.  Time duration of sleep and walk is working.

Hey @RichardMag, thank you for clarifying this with me!.

Have you tried setting up an alarm as per @AlejandraFitbit's instructions or restart it using the steps from @Odyssey13? This will help you to check if the vibrating motor on your One is defective.

If it's not vibrating after restarting and after the alarm activates, I encourage you to contact support so they can help you get back on track. Robot Happy
