My fitbit one is set up on constant sync with my Windows 10 laptop. What is odd is that when it first connects, it updates appears to auto sync but it does not update previous days' correctly unless they have already been synced.
So when it syncs it adds today's data so far but yesterday's is not complete. If a manual sync is done yesterday's data values increase significantly in value to around where it should be. Another manual sync may increase yesterday's by a little again. What is happening here?

I think what is happening is that some of the information sometimes takes a little longer to update through the Fitbit servers. I sometimes find that when I sync my numbers on my leaderboards, for example, don't update immediately. If I am very anxious to see my rank, I usually sync two or three more times and then they update. Of course it may be that they would have updated anyway in a few minutes and my extra syncing had nothing to do with it...
Anyway, that's my best guess at what you are seeing, based on my observations.

I tried waiting to see if the results are delayed in the servers and it does not update later unless I do another sync.

Hi @tnjgb. Did you check your time zone setting? Given the description you give, it sounds like what you perceive as today and yesterday's data ties right in with an erroneous time zone setting. Please click here Time Zone and scroll down to the Time heading to confirm that your time zone is correctly set. If you need to change it, please remember to SAVE your change and to force a sync, otherwise it won't take effect.
Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes. Cheers!

Thanks for the suggestion but the time zone is correct (GMT). The times when the activities occurred are correct but it needs a manual sync or two to update anything other than todays data.
