Fitbit One not tracking floors

My Fitbit One arrived yesterday, and it isn't tracking floors properly. The floor tracking is why I went with this model.  I live in a two story house and have gone up and down the stairs at least 8 times this morning and my Fitbit says 2 floors.

Is there a delay for it to catch up?

There isn't a delay in recording floors on your One.

You should get a floor whenever you go up a flight (not for coming down) as long as the stairs are at least 10 feet high and you do not stop on the way up. I'm wondering if your floors are close to the 10 foot limit meaning that sometimes they count and sometimes they don't.
