Fitbit app update may have fixed sync issue!

I have been resetting my Fitbit every morning since mid August to get it to sync. Did an update on my phone last nite and successfully sync'd just now. I'm cautiously optimistic that Fitbit has fixed the problem. If so, thank you Fitbit.

It worked for a day and stopped again.

Can you give me some more info please about what you did?

I have put the fitbit one into the charger and turned off but when I remove it, it turns on again.

Can't sync at all to my phone - "sync now" is greyed out and not active.
