Fitbit One works fine at home with a desktop PC. Try it with Microsoft Surface tablet, with the app installed, away from home and it won't sync. Uninstall/re-install no luck. Dongle in/out no luck. Will I never be able to travel with this Fitbit?

Hello @Jrby,

You'll need to enable permissions on the Fitbit App to have access to the dongle.  It looks like this:

  1. While the Fitbit App is running, swipe from the right to get settings.
  2. Select permissions.
  3. Turn on permissions for Fitbit Base Station.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply. The app on my tablet asks for permission rather than make a settings adjustment as you illustrated. I allowed access to the Base Station, but it still did not sync.
