Fitbit one factory reset

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
I just bought my first Fitbit One the other day. I bought it refurbished, so it has the wrong time and notifications. I've tried the steps to factory reset it, but it doesn't work. What else should I try? I'd really like it to have the correct time and notifications.

Hello @Launny,

Welcome to the community!

The moment you pair it to your account, it'll sync with the Fitbit servers and update the time and settings on the device.

I hope this helps.

@Launny A warm welcome to our Fitbit Community! My friend @PureEvil is right, you need to link your tracker with your Dashboard. you can find the instructions to set up your tracker in this help article.

I have tried everything to get my new fit bit one to work. I removed it from my account and try to reset it, and now it will not reset. Which means I cannot re-add it back to my account. Just in my office today he said I climbed 25 flights of stairs and had 90 active minutes which is totally in accurate. What can I do?

@Dnalym It's great to have you aboard in the Community! I would like to follow up and would like to know if your Fitbit One is still unable to connect to your Dashboard or if you were able to set it up properly.

Looking forward to your response my friend! Smiley Happy
