Fitbit one still not syncing

Is anyone still having problems with syncing their Fitbit? Apparently it’s all fixed now and mine still won’t. I’m in challenges and I’ve lost steps. Help

Am absolutely gutted as yes I love my Fitbit one - I don’t wear watches , never have and never will . I tried to sync the app but it’s still “looking” and the “sync now” is not highlighted . So I guess I have to say goodbye to my one 😞

So what is going on?  Is it just being phased out and thats it.  Cant do anything with it 😤

I ve had to speak to an agent this morning . Mine is working now so if the app is not syncing, click on remove item ( on the fit bit app ) then add it again . I have lost my data for yesterday tho but at least it’s working again . Eventually cuz Fitbit one is old, it won’t be compatible anymore at some point - am guessing

Thanks for that. I’ve done it. It has synced but now it’s now showing steps taken. I can’t find how to get it back.

Yes! Reading this thread actually makes me feel less frustrated because I know it’s not my problem. Hoping for a fix and that my device holds on to the collected data long enough that it all syncs!

My One had been awesome for years, but they do have the Inspire2, which comes in watch form ($99), but they also sell a waist clip for it ($19) so it might be time to bite the bullet? I hate that! They should fix the sync, but perhaps there are too few of us Onies left to bother? Anyway- fyi. I’ve gotten SUCH great use out if my one. If it died and not the sync, I wouldn’t hesitate, so what’s the difference really. Has anyone else tried calling customer support?

It worked! It somehow did capture the steps I had walked today, but not the two previous days, fyi. Good luck!

Ok Guys, here's what I did.  This morning, I removed the One from my account and reinstalled it.  All seems to be working now.  The sad thing is that my response from "higher support" was regarding my One's warranty and that it wasn't covered anymore?  Seriously?  The entire chat was about my One working properly and that the issue was it synching with the iPhone app.  Ugh!  I even said when they mentioned the warranty (why???) that I knew it wasn't under warranty as I purchased it in 2013!  Welcome to the world of Google-owned FitBit.  😞

It’s a joke isn’t it. I think I’m going to have to get a different tracker. Mine worked if I sync to my tablet. But I can’t always do that. Weirdly if I turn my Bluetooth on it doesn’t give the sync option. If I turn it off I get that option back. So frustrating!

I just called support and they told me to turn off Bluetooth on my phone and on IPAD fot ten secs and then turn on.  It worked!

Just have a look in app settings love . You should be able to get back as it was .

Just spoke to help line, I removed my one then re installed it, everything working correctly and it added all my steps from last 3 days, back to normal, yay

Was that online helpline? Or an actual call? So removing it didn’t mean you lost anything? That’s my main worry?

I think they’re phasing out the older versions sadly. Which is a bit rubbish as I’ve never had a problem before this. And I don’t like wearing anything watch like. The One suits perfectly. So when you removed it from the app and re added it, did that keep all of your activity? That’s my concern.

Chat online, tried lots of other stuff first, which I had already tried! But just delete it then add it again. Once I had done that, I synced it and all my steps etc were there from tues onwards, great! Hope this helps you 🤞

 

Yes, that’s what they told me to do.  Didn’t lose anything, everything added and I’m second in my weekly challenge.
