Fitbit one stopped syncing

I’ve followed all the suggestions to sync my Fitbit one but it still won’t work. I’ve also tried deleting the app on my phone and reinstalling it. I’d be grateful for some help please?

I tried to reply to the other posts on here with the same issue but I could not get the reply option to work

Do you have it set to Classic Mode as in my last post ?

I had the same challenge.  You have to hit the red reply to this post link.  Good luck.

It won’t let me do anything. Appears not to accept the dongle and does not show an option.

Be sure this is turned to On.

Restart the laptop, see if it finds the One.

I think that was brilliant and maybe even would have worked, but it looks like my dongle is broken and not seen by the app.  Broken dongle I think. Does it make sense to buy a new one?

I have no idea how they can go bad but to me its worth a try to get a new dongle.
If you can get it from some where with easy returns like amazon, at least you can send it back if it still doesn't connect with the One.

Have you tried to see if One will connect while connected to the charger ?

I have to ask, are you sure your One is charged up ?
When I was going thru fixing mine, it showed a empty battery and would not charge.
But all is good with mine now.

It is charged, but I like your idea about buying a new dongle and have just ordered one.  Fingers crossed.  Thanks very much

It's quite unlikely your Dongle is misfunctioning and you can try an alternate Bluetooth dongle (or just the PC itself if it has Bluetooth). Why not try from your Android phone again? Once it's added, it's added 🙂

Even with a perfect dongle, the Windows Fitbit app can be flakey.

Well I was pretty excited when the dongle arrived today (I'm an eternal optimist), and even more excited when it looked like the system was syncing for some time. Ultimately, however, the app failed to locate the tracker yet again. And I did the uninstall/reinstall thing several times, had the tracker in the charger, put the dongle in and out, turned off the Bluetooth on my phone but bottom line the system just can't find the tracker.  I really loved the One because I don't want to wear a wrist thing and none of the new ones seem really made for that.  Any final thoughts before I have a memorial service for my beloved One?  And thanks for trying and being a never give up type of person.
