Mine stopped syncing 8/12/2016 just before midnight. It won't sync with my phone or tablet.

My Fitbit One stopped syncing yesterday at 2:45pm. The Fitbit itself is still operating but won't send the data to my iPhone or iPad. I've had this device for quite a long time without issue regarding bluetooth syncing so this is something unexpected. I wonder how many others are having this problem?

I had to restart it by pluging in to my charger and holding the button down for several seconds. Then it synced. Only issue now is that i believe its counting extra steps, or doubled up on my synced minutes. I've only been doing minimal cooking and cleaning this morning and im already up to 7900 steps. Usually its no more than 2000 during this time of the day without running.

Hi L_Boogie
Thanks SO much for this solution! It absolutely worked to restore the Bluetooth connection! You're a genius! I can't say anything about step count yet. Maybe, you're cooking up a storm?
Thanks again!

@thecheese Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Did you tried the troubleshooting steps listed on the article @SunsetRunner provided? I'm sure that will resolve the problem you are experiencing.

@Vizzpat @L_Boogie It's great to see you in the Community! I'm really glad to hear that you are back on track now. I'm sure this will help other users that may be experiencing this problem. @L_Boogie Try changing the dominant hand setting to "dominant" as that will decrease the sensitivity of step counting.

Let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy
