Frustrated with “walk” classification of my jog

I am jogging at 11 min pace, and it’s hard still.  My daily exercise on the Fitbit app calls it a walk.  No I was not walking.  I would appreciate if Fitbit could reconsider classifications of exercises.  Maybe a pace under 10 min is a run, 10-15 is a jog, and above 15 is a walk.  Nit picky, I know.  But every bit of motivation helps and showing my Walk isn’t motivating when I worked hard and was jogging faster than I can walk.

@TambeS  why not manually classify your activity if this is a big motivation issue for you? Fitbit often detects activities incorrectly for me but I don't care, after all, it's all activity. I had elliptical logged the other day and wasn't on an elliptical machine but I was active so it was great to see this, but if it bothered me, I'd just start them manually.

Your device, @TambeS a Fitbit One, by holding on the button, only has the ability to classify any walk, run, etc as a workout.

As @Williger suggests you can then rename the exercise. However the only jog option is a water jog.

Thank you for the suggestion.  You are right, it’s not a big deal 😀

Thank you.  Soon I’ll feel like I’m ‘running’.  I just have to keep working at it.
