How to log Bootcamp with running

Hi all, just got my One yesterday and am really pleased with it so far. Quick question though - every Saturday I attend a bootcamp class where as part of the class there is some running. How would I log that? If I manually enter a bootcamp activity it doesn't include any of the steps I've taken. I don't want to double up on the calories used and give a false reading so was wondering the best and most accurate way of recording it? Thanks!

Hi, @Smanfer! Manually adding an activity like bootcamp will overwrite your active minutes and calories, but not your steps. So, you won't be double-counting anything and you'll still get credit toward your step total from the running you do within the time period. Hope this answers your question!

Thank you! So is it not worth tracking it as an activity via the stopwatch?

I would suggest you try it both ways and see if there is a difference in calorie content (my guess is the answer will be yes. In a bootcamp type class, you're expending more calories than your tracker will see just from logging steps. I think my guess from what I have done with steps only vs tracking is 50-100% more.
