Hi, @Smanfer! Manually adding an activity like bootcamp will overwrite your active minutes and calories, but not your steps. So, you won't be double-counting anything and you'll still get credit toward your step total from the running you do within the time period. Hope this answers your question!

I would suggest you try it both ways and see if there is a difference in calorie content (my guess is the answer will be yes. In a bootcamp type class, you're expending more calories than your tracker will see just from logging steps. I think my guess from what I have done with steps only vs tracking is 50-100% more.
