Several days ago and just received the "low battery" email. Does that mean my Fitbit is near? I am wondering if it is somewhere in my house or I lost it elsewhere. Does the email have anything to do with proximity? Can your dashboard tell you your fit but is out of bateries if it's 100 miles away?

Your device will sync if it's within twenty feet of your dongle or mobile device.

The email is sent out at your request, when the battery is low.
