Inaccurate Sleep Logs

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My wife's FitBit One seems to be malfunctioning: it has logged sleep in the future, i.e. she got up at around 0830hrs and then Synced the FitBit One at 1100hrs and the log showed sleep records until around 1300hrs. Have we got a malfunctioning device, because clearly this is not possible, unless FitBit has included some time-travelling technology and we have inadvertently stepped into a worm-hole in space-time during the night! Here is the log so you can see:Fri9Sep16-Sleep.JPG

Needless to say this is more than a fit-bit dissappointing. Does anyone have a valid rationale for how this log got to be created?

This FitBit One also created two overlapping sleep records, but I will put that on another post.

We are not too impressed with this device as yet.

Hey there @CobaltStargazer. Good to see you around!

For what I see in the picture you uploaded, it seems like she went to bed at 10:02 pm the previous night and the tracker says she got out of bed at 10:30 am the next day (12:27 hrs of sleep). I could have been that she got up earlier but she didn't put on her tracker and that's why it's saying that she slept after 8:30 am which makes sense to me and doesn't seem to be tracking sleep in advance but the sleep log that you see there is for the previous night and that day's morning.

I'll take a look at your other post and see what's going on there.

Hi FF

Thanks for your reply and interpretation.

I don't get the interpretation like you do I must say. She definitely got up at 0830hrs - thiis much I know, and the fact the tracker record shows many continuous actiivty spikes from around 0930hrs shows me she did not leave it on the table or suchlike but was in fact wearing it whilst up at about.

Therefore the log pattern  makes no sense to us at the moment.

Was the tracker synced with the correct time before she went to sleep? And the correct timezone set in her Fitbit profile?
