Knee replacement issues

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Recently had a total knee replacement. My fitbit one no longer keeps an accurate step count (only counts less than half of my steps and counts no flights at all) I thought it was the device itself and ordered a new one and the new one does the same. It does not count any steps if worm clipped to my bra and only works some if in a pocket. I never had a problem before and am puzzled.

Are you using a walker or a cane?

I have the same problem as I had a Hip replacement. I do use a cane but it is also because I'm not picking up my feet like I normally do. It will get better once you heal. Just dont worry about it now

Thanks for your reply. I'm not using a walker or a cane. Almost five weeks out and my gait is normal just walk a bit more slowly. The flights I almost understand as I only go up one step at at time.  My Iphone give me accurate steps, but I don't carry it with me all the time. This is irritating.
