When I held down the button to activate in order to record an activity time, all of the prior data for the day was reset to -0-: steps, floors, etc. This is the 3rd time that prior day information seems to arbritrarily reset to -0- during the day. Has anyone else had this problem and do you know what causes this to happen?

Hi @MKMFB. I think you should contact Support and with your email account, they can go in and see exactly what's going on. Both my wife and I have had our Fitbit One for over two years and never came across this. Using the timer should definitely not erase any data, but simply show a segment of your data separately on your activity log. Please let us know what they say.

TW: I contacted support and basically they told me to make sure that I had the correct time zone in my set-up (I do) and if I still had problems to dismiss the device and reload as a new device. That was it. Not overly helpful I didn't think ......

Hi @MKMFB. Yeah, not very helpful indeed. I am just curious about this. When you use the button to start the timer, you just hold it briefly until you see the timer start counting, right? And then you do the same to stop it at the end of your walk/jog, right?

Hi again @MKMFB. Have you tried deleting your One from your account; and setting it up again as a new device, as Support suggested? Worth a try. Just make sure to sync before you do this, so that all your latest data gets logged to your account. GL!
