One spontaneously restarted itself

I received my One on December 25, 2013. Today I noticed it was not syncing to my phone. I turned off Bluetooth, restarted my phone, logged out and back in, uninstalled the application. No sync. I tried syncing it on my laptop, it synced, but still the phone app didn't sync. On the laptop, it says I travelled no steps, when just a minute ago it read 3448 on my One. I checked my One again, and it appeared to have restarted - it showed no steps, no floors, nothing. I had to reset it on Feb. 4, due to it not yncing anywhere, but this is the first time it's reset itself. Once it has reset, the phone app worked fine, and I can log my previous steps as excercise, like I did on the 2nd and 3rd. Thoughts?

Hi @suzthejeweler. When you restarted your Fitbit One, presumably you used these instructions How do I restart my tracker. Do you remember seeing "Fitbit 6.60" on your One's display? If not, I would suggest restarting it again, holding the button down 15-20 seconds if need be, until you get to see the Fitbit logo on your display, followed by the firmware version. If the number you see is lower than 6.60, you will need to get the firmware update using the instructions in How do I update my tracker. Just one more thought - when it turned itself off, you still had power in your One, correct; or could it be that the battery ran out?

It restarted itself, I didn't restart it manually. The battery was at medium charge.

Sorry @suzthejeweler, I thought you had alread attempted to restart your One also, in addition to restarting your phone. I would still suggest restarting your One, using the link I gave you earlier. I have seen another post yesterday from another Community user who experienced something similar - but he was able to tie it to his use of the timer functionality of the Fitbit One to time a run. Does this ties in with your situation at all? Do you remember using the timer to time an event on those days where you lost all your prior data for the day?

No, I never use the run timer. It's running OK now, I just wanted to post to see if anyone else was having the same problem. I manually reset it on February 4 after trying everything (turning off Bluetooth, restarting my phone, uninstalling the app).
