I looked at similar posts.  I had the app installed on my tablet but removed so I wonder if I installed it again would it need to go through any special steps to sync again?  This is the second time I lost it on a trip to the same store but last time I remember snagging it with my winter coat in the checkout lane.  This time no coat but it popped out of its holder which seems difficult to do.

 

The app couldn't find it at home, garage or my vehicle and it wasn't turned in at lost/found at the store.

I did contact support and they emailed me links to two Bluetooth Finder apps for use on Android or Apple.  The Android app had negative reviews so luckily I installed a second one before heading to the store where I lost it, I think.  The suggested app didn't find anyting but the other app had all kinds of phones(I assume), FB Charge HR, FB Zip and two FB One.  A return lap showed no FB One so they belonged to other users in the store.

 

Now, here's where I get annoyed!  I asked Support afterwards for the MAC address of my FB One and they replied the Privacy Rules(link provided) prevents them from giving me that info.  They can't share my private info with me???  Privacy Rules are to protect "my" personal info.  That BT Finder app listed the MAC address of every BT device in that store!

 

I did email the Privacy Rules address to complain about this.

 

BTW:  They also offered a 25% discount on another Fitbit product but I can get a FB One with a 40% discount elsewhere.
