Mine tried to escape once. I got an old necklace, hooked it through the end hole that I won't / can't use, double up the chain like a bracelet and snap on Fitbit. If Fitbit comes unsnapped, it's hanging on by the necklace/bracelet.

My problem is I am on my 3rd charging cord. Dear baby kitties stole two. This one I have tied to the computer monitor, other end on the cord, when not charging - oh and the string goes under keyboard (if not, too much temptation) then cord and excess string all go in a zippered bag, in the desk drawer. HA - let's see them get it this time!! I really wish I could find their stash of stuff. Any these aren't kittens - one is 7 and the other is 9. Technically, they are way too old to be doing is stuff.

The pitiful part is - the last time they took it, I ordered a new one then sat. Did not walk, did not do anything at all until the new cord came. That is just plain stupid. I should walk even if Fitbit isn't counting for me, but no, I sat and did absolutely nothing until the new cord showed up and my Fitbit got charged. Can't believe I even admitted that!!

Oh well -

I lost my fitbit hr at the weekend. i am really unhappy about it.  money down the drain because of those stupid clasps. it must have caught on the sleeve of my coat and unclipped falling off while out in Wimbledon.  money down the drain and i've now spent another hundred quid on the charge HR just so i can get a secure strap.  not impressed.

Received my fitbit HR as a christmas present from my grandkids! Loved it! Lost it off my wrist while working at school and no one turned it in! What good would it be to anyone else? Could they charge it off another cord or sink it to another computer? Very dissappointed and could not believe it came off so easily.

I lost mine 4 months  and not at home. It still shows up on my Dashboard as updated and a calorie red for the night.

I can't find my Fitibit.
After seeing all the other folks who have lost thiers, it seems to be that the manufacturer would create a means by which a signal could be sent to the Fitbit to help locat it.
For example, I believe mine is somehwere in my house.

I just lost mine and feel exactly the same way.  What a major design flaw in the band! No secure clasping mechanism.  So easily can fall off or get pulled off.  I will not buy another Fitbit with such a major design flaw.
