Today is a very sad day. The Fitbit One I had for 10 years passed on. I can honestly say that she was with me every single day for the last 10 years. She was a quiet One. She never caused any drama and I knew I could rely and depend her on each and every day. She stuck by me even when I accidentally put her through the washing machine more times than I'd like to admit. Today was a great loss and I will never be able to replace her. RIP my little Fitbit One. Every step I take from today forward will be in your memory. 😢

I feel for you. The One was the best Fitbit ever

Yesterday my One gave up the ghost also.
I had also washed it more times than I care to admit. It has been all over the world with me due to my job including incredibly hot summers in Iraq, it went up countless stairs at Petra, did a safari in South Africa, and many a helicopter ride in Afghanistan to have the summer heat in Texas drag it down.
Best feature was the vibrating alarm.
I will mourn my One.

Mine just died too. I loved it - small, clipped on waist most of the time, and kept me motivated.

You can find them on EBay.

@Jannykay Although I never owned a One, I can tell that many people miss it. Don’t be tempted to buy one on EBay. The type of battery in a Fitbit gets old even sitting in an unopened box. You will be disappointed by its performance.

I'm so sorry Jenray13 for your One. I totally understand having her by your side every single day.. I hope you can find a good "stand in" for her cuz I know you can't replace her.

My one died this week too. 8 years of loyal service! So sad. I love the fact that it's small and could clip is discreetly onto my bra. I don't want a wrist one.
I have ordered an inspire 2 as that is only one to come with a clip. It's not arrived yet. What did you replace yours with?

Please update with your experience with the Inspire 2 vs Fitbit One. My One battery is getting weak, so I will probably need to find a replacement soon! 😕

hi
well I have had my inspire 2 for a few days. I only chose this one for the clip and I don't want a wrist tracker. It seems okay but nothing special. The active minutes and heart rate monitor only work when it is on your wrist which is annoying and its recording distance further than I know I have done, eg it says my 5k run was a bit more than 6km which I know it isn't. I'm struggling to see how to change this. Besides that, its pretty much the same as the one.

Thank you! I ordered the new Inspire 3 so hoping it will work as a replacement for the One with the clip accessory.

Congrats on your new Fitbit friend. How do you like the Inspire 3?

Lost my Fitbit One yesterday. Knew this day was coming because I was charging more and it was missing steps Been a reliable source of data for fourteen years! Has travelled to Europe and around N.A. as a quiet companion. Will miss my One! My daughter gave me her One when she switched to a watch recently. Although it charged, I can’t get it to start tracking. Guess I will have to find a replacement perhaps an Inspire 3 with a clip. Have a Garmin watch, but big and clunky, although fantastic data, but not something I wear all the time. My One just clipped to my sweats and away we would go. Did I say I would miss my One? I will really miss my One!

I'm a little late to the mourning but did you try rebooting the One? Its quite simple even I did it. I've noticed that as my One ages I need to do this at least once a month. Hope this works for you.

I am sorry about your lost! I have had mine since 2015! It’s still going strong! After multiple walks and threw few machine washes…. It goes strong! This has been the best Fitbit they built!! I wish they would bring it back!! I would buy another in a heart beat!!! If mine passed!! I treasure mine truly!!

The Inspire 3 does the job. At least it has a clip so is a similar form factor to the One. I still miss the One tho. The Inspire does not count stairs/climbing. Battery life is decent and syncs well so far.
