The Fitbit is right next to the phone & yet the app cannot find the device to sync.
Sync is greyed.
I have rebooted my One, reinstalled Fitbit app, nothing works.
Should I throw away my One & move on to different tracker?

Hi Annigje,
Never received any response from Fitbit customer support, but I have finally managed to sync up my device. Had to reboot my One 4 times before it finally synced.
Check if your device has the correct time, I think one of the issues I had was, my fitbit device had somehow got incorrect time and because it wouldn't sync there was no way for me to get the time correct on my device. The fourth reboot of my device corrected the time and I think that allowed the device to sync.
Though I still haven't figured out why, when my device was right next to my home, the fitbit App kept saying "Device not found".
For now at least it has started syncing, so happy about that but Fitbit customer support is terrible, no one has bothered to respond.
My next device will certainly NOT be a fitbit.
Hope this helps you, in some way with your problem.

When you restarted your Fitbit, did you lose all of the data after you got it to sync? I haven’t restarted mine because I’m afraid I may lose everything and I haven’t synced for about a week.

I’ll add to this just in case anyone is following: I took the risk and restarted my Fitbit. I did NOT lose any previous un-synced data, and restarting the device solved the issue on my first try. My device once was lost, but has now been found!!!

Hi Rusty86,
No I did not loose any data. But I hadn't been able to sync for 5 days only, not sure of how many days worth of data is held in the device.
